We recommend 3,000 sqft and below. The wireless devices have a range of 1.5 miles in open air. But, in a home or business there can be many factors that affect that range. If your home or business is larger than 3,000 sqft we recommend you call our office and talk to a Security Professional before purchasing.

Yes. Pay close attention when mounting the devices to make sure they are oriented correctly in order to ensure they function properly. This is marked on the devices.
